Eligibility Criteria for RITES Recruitment 2025
Before applying, candidates must ensure they meet the age, educational, and experience requirements.
Educational Qualification
Technician (VC No. CL/10-R1/25):
- Education: Full-time B.Sc. in Physics or Chemistry with at least 45% marks.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in material testing or lab work (e.g., slag analysis, resin-coated silica sand, mechanical property testing, macro/micro examination).
Field Engineer / Site Assessor:
- Education: Matriculation + ITI in Electrical/Power Distribution/Mechanics recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
- Marks Required:
- General/EWS: 50%
- SC/ST/OBC/PWD: 45%
- Experience: At least 1 year in Solar PV systems installation, commissioning, testing, field inspection, and quality assurance.
Note: Training/internship period will not be counted as experience.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 40 years (as of May 19, 2025)
- Relaxation:
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- PwD: 10 years additional relaxation
RITES Salary Structure 2025
Selected candidates will be engaged on a contractual basis initially for one year, extendable based on performance and project needs.

- Duration: 2.5 hours (+ 50 mins for PwD)
